The Premium Music Course combines both live performances and specialized masterclasses to enhance engagement for students who have primarily been involved in individual lessons. This approach maintains the personalized attention crucial for advancing in piano studies. One of the highlights of this course is the collaborative energy generated through group activities, peer practice, and efficient problem-solving techniques. The atmosphere is similar to what you’d experience in the BAAM club and intensive camps. This unique class is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and is designed to propel students to higher divisions, thereby deepening their commitment to music. It’s important to note that if a student doesn’t demonstrate progress or interest by the end of the year, re-enrollment in this exclusive course will not be an option. Furthermore, the student will be limited to advancing only as far as Division 1 moving forward.
| 00 min | Performance/Masterclass: Students give presentations to the class about the songs they are presently focusing on. Participation is mandatory. |
| 30 min | Piano Practice: Every student follows an Action Plan that lays out their practice tasks for the day and the entire week. After getting approval from the teacher, students go to the piano or keyboard to start practicing based on their plan. The teacher will circulate to observe and provide guidance as needed. Students receive weekly grades based on attendance, behavior, work ethic, and progress. |
| Private Lesson: During the practice session, students will be individually called upon to assess their technique and song progress, starting with the youngest in age. They may be called multiple times to monitor their direction and ongoing progress. | |
| 1 hr 15 min | First Dismissal: Students who have concluded their private lessons may choose to leave at this time. Students may also choose to stay for the entire class, continuing with their Action Plan. |
